When your child starts at Schechter, you do not merely enroll them in a school; your family enters into a nurturing community.
Schechter is blessed to be a warm and welcoming community. Our families do not just see one another at pick-up and drop-off; they invite each other over for Shabbat dinners, take vacations and trips to Israel together, celebrate each other’s simchas, and comfort each other during life’s challenges. Our teachers do not just write college recommendation letters for students, they invite them into the faculty room for heart-to-heart chats and one-on-one tutoring. They will join in the Purim fun by wearing funny costumes, attend in-school bar or bat mitzvahs, come to evening drama performances to support their students, and send condolence cards and pay shiva calls to families in mourning.
At SSLI we take care of every child, every family, every community member. That is the greatest gift of all.
