Schechter LI Dorot [Generations] is a program for grandparents and family friends people who have a powerful impact on the lives of our children. As a Schechter LI Grandparent and Friend, you are a very special member of our kehillah.
MISSION STATEMENT
Grandparents and family friends are an integral part of our children’s and school’s support system.
The mission of the Schechter LI’s דּ וֹ ר וֹ ת DOROT – GENERATIONS is to strengthen inter-generational ties and engage grandparents and family friends in Schechter life.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR YOU
Shabbat-A-Gram – Send your special note to welcome shabbat. Your letter will be hand delivered to the classroom for shabbat. Fill out your Shabbat-A-Gram below!
Kabbalat Shabbat – Starting May 6, You will have an opportunity to sponsor Kabbalat Shabbat. In the warmer weather, we will have Kabbalat Shabbat outdoors and you will have the opportunity to sponsor this K5 celebration in the honor of your grandchild/en.
DOROT Newsletter – Grandparents will receive a yearly Newsletter every December. It will highlight events from Lower, Middle & High School for the past year.
Helping Hands – Join us for celebrations and holidays and lend us your helping hands in the classroom and around Schechter.
