Student Life

At the Schechter School of Long Island we offer our high school students a wide variety of activities, clubs, sports teams, trips and community service opportunities that serve to develop a greater sense of pride in our school.

Student Life at SSLI begins with our Club Fair at our annual All-School Retreat in early September. We welcome new and returning students to participate in the many different options for extra and co-curricular activities that foster interpersonal, communication, team-building and leadership skills. Through involvement in clubs, teams and activities, students form friendships and bonds that last well beyond their years at Schechter.
