Schechter gave me the ability to root myself in Jewish communities throughout the world and to be a contributing member. Schechter also gave me ability to approach teachers whenever I had a question or a thought I wanted to share; it was this open door policy that gave me the confidence to reach out to my professors and invest in and benefit from those relationships. After graduating Yale, I worked in London for three years and am now pursuing a PhD at Harvard.
