Schechter was a long way from my home in Brooklyn; I spent three months’ time commuting for high school. The education I received was well worth the travel. Schechter taught me how to be an analytical thinker, always asking more questions. The critical thinking skills I learned during high school allowed me to succeed in undergrad, and now medical school. The individualized attention and mentors I had at Schechter pushed me, both academically and personally. Schechter’s small class sizes, genuinely caring faculty, and commitment to Jewish values were invaluable. Choosing Schechter was one of the most important, and best decisions I’ve ever made.
