There are so many ways that Schechter has absolutely transformed my life. Academically, it gave me all the tools and knowledge I would need to be successfully in college. Nowhere else would I have been able to just walk into the teachers room to ask for help about a math problem, or discuss an idea for a paper, or even discuss the previous nights football game. The teachers at Schechter are committed to both their students academic and personal growth. Schechter also gave me an incredible appreciation for my Jewish heritage through the accessible and meaningful Jewish education curriculum.  Above all, the school developed in me a passion for serving the Jewish community, a passion that I continue to pursue in college and hope to pursue once I graduate.
